Is ignous (typo) shield good for DK stam tanks?

How is everyone missing the fact that while in combat igneous shield grants you and your group minor brutality which stacks with major brutality?

How many of the people on this forum actually play the game rather than just come here and trash talk?

It is good. But not as a protection for your HP. But pop it out befor your vigor and profit from the buffed heal.
Plus you get 5% of your total stamina and when infight minor brutality ( right? ) for you and your buddies.

And as a tank i guess you have higher HP so you will get a "ok" shield since it scales of your hp

Not really it's more for DK healers.

But side not real tanks do not relie on that OP broken cheap mechanic know as shield stacking to tank.

Yes, it's amazing.

It restores stamina (earthen heart passive)

It grants ultimate (earthen heart passive)

It gives you minor mending (25% increased healing)

It's a shield obviously, so therefore stops you getting hit with crits (pvp only)

It's good for any Dk.

What he's saying is accurate. The major mending is particularly nice with the whip (I suppose I should add that I meant this as an alternate for magic builds as well). Obviously the thread is about stamina (rally/vigor apply here). Don't most dps in pvp try to get some kind of mitigating skills? Igneous weapons is good as well.

What else are you spending your magicka on as a stam dk that's better than this? 5% of your stam back, minor brutality for everyone, a shield based on your max hp for everyone. There is pretty much no reason to not use this as a magicka dump on a DK tank. I'd even say it's so good, I'd question whether a stam DK is even worth it compared to a mag DK than can simply dump more magicka into igneous shield more often and consistently. What does a stam DK bring to the table that a magicka DK does not?
