Yup.. Noticed this all night on TF yesterday... On a sidenote... ZOS actually thought that giving everyone proxy and ALSO introducing vicious death set WHILE making meteor unreflectable/undodgeable was a good idea for PvP in this game... Every patch I find myself losing more and more faith in their combat decisions..

Don't stack on crown you will be fine I got Inpen and 48 in resist and 100 in elemental defender I got hit by H the emp on Haderus who is wearing vicious death for 4.6 k damage at the higest all night ( most were in the 3.6 range)...Yawn! But then got hit by a heavy attack for 14669 so now let's ask for nerfs to heavy attacks. You asked for Zerg busters and now you have another tool now asking for nerfs... ZOS makes makes me sad.... There need to do small updates, they always do this, they always change too much at once.
They either double buff something or double nerf it.

Friend of mine got killed by VD in a 1v1, the set is bugged, just look around for other threads with the same information.
To clarify, this is a visual bug with death recap where it still counts the proc as a hit for death recap purposes even though you're already dead. The set is not actually dealing damage to the person who procs it before they die, sorry for the confusion.

Turns out it isn't bugged.
The proc shows up in your damage log even though it does not actually do any damage to you.

Something odd is going on with Vicious Death, possibly.
I was alone when this gank happened. It could be that my recap and damage logs are just putting the damages in there somehow, but I doubt that because VD shows before the Prox Det. The damage in total, without VD, adds up to 19,029. My total health is 19,951. The Prox Det wouldn't have been the final blow; however, VD added in an extra 11.6K damage out of nowhere making it the kill. After talking about it in zone chat, others have also been experiencing Vicious Death being shown on their recaps/damage logs even though they were alone or not close to someone. Has anyone here also experienced this?

I noticed this too. VD is proccing as normal rotational damage when no one else dies around you. Everyone is running VD now. Its ridiculously OP. The tool tip says, (5 items) When you kill a player they violently explode for x Flame Damage. Its suppose to explode after you die and cause an AOE to players around you. Not cause damage as part of the rotation to a single player. This is some F---ED up stuff ZOS.
