Riften is nice, but Eastmarch also looks very beautiful. I spend most of my time in Riften though, its always the place that I go for crafting and banking, selling and repairing. However, there are so many awesome zones! I do like the Alik'r Desert. Also currently exploring Wrothgar for the first time, and I must say this is an awesome zone as well!
For banking and crafting, Velyn Harbour on Malbal Tor is my favourite.
For an overall map, I loved Eastmarch. I've only played through that zone once, so we'll see how that holds up, but I just adored the scenery and feel of that map for some reason.
Maybe I'm biased, but I love AD zones because they are all so green and pretty I love Eastmarch and Wrothgar too, for the snow, and when I first got my new PC and was able to play in ultra settings, I was actually taken aback slightly by how beautiful Cyrodiil is, especially at sunrise

but I love shadowfen because bank and every craft stations in the main city are easy to access
I agree with the OP, and have a lot of good memories leveling my crafter in Shadowfen (the bard over by the guild traders is still a favorite -- can't get the "Red Diamond" song out of my head). I also like Coldharbour -- the world has such a unique, eerie feel to it. Great lighting and graphics.
Wrothgar for me, for sure. Totally renewed my interest in the game, but also Bal Foyen you spend so little time there on the quests and it has all crafting stations and bank in one hall, best for crafting without a doubt.
Hate IC and gutted I bought it, I just die. And never liked Shadowfen compared to the rest of EP, it was just a bit swampy.

I can`t say what I like the most, but I can say what I absolutely HATE, and tats Grahtwood, Greenshade and everything else with Bosmer in it.
I hate everything about that zones. The quests, the environment, the annoying tree-cities, even the mobs.
Greenshade was so bad, it made me quit ESO for a good half year. It wore me down so hard I didn`t want to level anymore.
Furtunately Legerdemain came along, now I can go on killingsprees, whiping out whole cities filled with treehuggers and their annoying leaders!
Imperial City. Only place without lag. Needs 35% less npcs. Also needs a dueling district with no NpC or just take out the boss from arena and add on bleachers so we can fight in a stadium setting.
My brains exploding. NEW DISTRICT WITH VMA POWERS UPS DEATH MATCH STYLE!!
Pretty much everything about it, really. The redguard culture really makes an impact on the main quest, There are some great set pieces, unusual geography, and some great sidequests.
In fact, today I encountered possibly my favourite microquest in the game. If you haven't done the quest about the pearl and the goats, go a little north of Divad's Chagrin Mine Wayshrine and look for a guy called Hayazzin.
There's also a cool quest where you have to race a storm.
Sentinel is a really nice city, The crafting is close together, although the bank is a little out of the way, The mages guild has a tower, it's on multiple but pretty easy to navigate levels, and it has a architecture style which is used far less than all the other styles in the game.
It also has shipyards.
Yep. My favourite place in ESO.
Although the music in Cyrodiil is beautifully haunting when you're out alone on a long ride.

Please put the Eyevea/EarthForge wayshrines back on the map?
For crafting specifically, I like Shornhelm and Rawl'kha. But I think the land I always loved the most in this game was Glenumbra. Beautiful waterfalls, open green spaces, lovely beaches... it was the most peaceful zone I found. Stormhaven isn't so bad either.
I didn't like a lot of the EP zones because I really dislike the snowy areas. They are so cold and desolate. I prefer greenery and sunshine (and ocean is a bonus).
