How much memory will the 64 bit client be able to use total?

I mean, if a machine has 8 or 16 GB of memory, it should use more than just the 2 that the 32 bit client used right?

I just did a quick test:
The 64bit client used between 3.8GiB and 4.1 GiB.
The 32bit client constantly stayed below 2GiB always only a few MiB from the limit.

I logged in with the same character to Abah's Landing (at the crafting stations). I forgot to disable AddOns though.
The only difference I felt was that the 64bit client seemed to be done with loading a bit quicker.

A 64bit application should theoretically be able to address up to 2^63 bytes (8 Exbibytes = 8,388,608 TiB) or ~9.223*10^18 bytes (9.223 Exabytes ≈ 9,223,372 Terabytes).

I'll be honest here and say, I can't see anything different between the 32-bit and 64-bit clients other than the bugs I get when using the 64-bit one.
Pink textures popping up from time to time and the weird sound bugs.

So I am sticking with 32-bit client for now. It loads nice and fast, and everything looks the same.
