Crash hotfix worked everywhere except Maelstrom Arena

Last week's crash and fps hotfix worked perfectly for me... except when inside Maelstrom Arena.
I regularly crash roughly every 20 minutes when inside. It's ruining those smooth runs where I have a chance to finally get the no-death achievement.
Is anyone else crashing specifically inside Maelstrom Arena now? PC - NA
