Add Execute Damage to Piercing Javelin and it's morphs. It already has a Magicka and Stamina morph so this could cater to both Magplars and Stamplars as well as justifying Javelin's high base cost. I think the Stamina morph would probably have to lose it's stun to balance it. Just replace Radiant Destruction with a Defensive Ability, a Resource Multiplier, or a hard AoE CC

    Not a bad suggestion.
    I don't really like Radiant Destruction. Everyone is making a fuss over it because it hits "20K", yet they don't seem to realize its a 3 second channel (so 6K a second, basically the same as any other execute).

    Would be fun to see someone test it without a an "uber-maxed_out-Hyper-pure-Magicka-DPS-set_up". and post that. I mean, i personally get the feeling that i can *** down someone's HP faster than when i use RD (get it... its both yellow and both have a reach of 28M :* )
    All jokes aside. Someone posted a video of "RD vs Other Executes". If that was actual gameplay footage rather than one of the most basic "lets put a set-up where we show how OP something is by staging everything", then PvP wouldn't be a horseback simulator like it is now. I mean, such low damage can be easily countered by Health regen. Its when someone else dips your HP that RD becomes dangerous.

    But, back to topic.
    I do like this idea. Would make the spears more desirable. I do say that they should give them the 28M radius though, just for the fun of it.

    As for RD. I like the animation, could do some fun things with it.
    Maybe make it a targeted healing skill. (non smart). Aim it at an ally and force new life energy into your allies.

    Or make it a sap skill type thing. When locked, once the target loses health a percentage of said lost health will be returned as health to people within range of the Templar.
    Basically Radiant Glory (in AOE form), where the damage is done by your allies rather than the beam itself.

    My only beef with getting killed by RD is that when being attacked by a group of players, so often the beam doesn't even show up for me and it's a surprise to see it on my death recap.

    As for adding an execute mechanic to Javelin, I love the idea. I've suggested it before too, and I think it would somewhat alleviate the high cost and low base damage it has now.

    After all, Javelin was THE reason I originally rolled a Templar. It looks and feels AWESOME. I would love to be able to close kills with it. ;)

    A javelin execute would be pretty badass. I just wish they changed RD to something like take 15% reduced dmg from all enemies hit AOE style, like one of the templars ult's but make it deal no or little dmg and cost a reasonable amount to cast.
    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    As long as you don't remove the stun I am fine with changes to Javelin. But seriously, I NEED that CC on Stamplar.

    Binding Javelin could start unchanged. Just change the range damage bonus of the magicka morph to an execute
