How to Increase DPS on Magicka NB

Hi All,
I want to increase my DPs on my magicka NB,
I think my issue is my spell damage is too low,
My spell damage is 2.6k unbuffed

My setup currently is as follows:
I run 5 Julianos(3 Infused rest Divines),
I run 3/4 Magnus(2 Divines)(weapons all Nirnhoned)
I have willpower rings all Increase spell damage,

I am not sure of my CP setup and maybe this is also where i have an issue....

I use a flame staff(Nirnhoned)
Funnel Health,
impale,
Merciless Resolve,
Cripple,
Magelight,
U - Meteor

dualwield(swords both Nirnhoned)
Sap essence
Refreshing path
reapers mark,
Siphoning strikes,
Magelight
U - Veil of blades

I have 32k Magicka
26k Health
13k Stam

I don't have undaunted mettle yet..

I pull around 15k single target dps with this setup.

Any advice would be appreciated

First off, Divines on everything!

Second, Molag Kena (at least one piece for spell damage).

Third, I'd go for Torug's pact instead of magnus.

Make sure too have 1 heavy, 1 medium, 5 light armor pieces and get undaunted up.

Also, respec... 26k health... WTF

Get it down to 18k, put everything into magicka. With food buff you should hit at least 40k (with undaunted that is).

Now I don't play NB (yet), but this is the obvious stuff I suppose.

Nerenith is just as good, if you've got 100CP in Thermo, then it's 10k damage for free, pretty good, better than another few hundred SPdmg anyway, plus for a NB you don't want 2pc Kena, 1 would be fine, it's unsustainable for a NB.

Maw of the Infernal or Mephala work pretty well now too, powerful.

Your unbuffed spell power is fine. The problem with your spell power is that you have no way of boosting it up beyond what Major Sorcery can give you. I would replace your Magnus and use a 2pc of kena instead, and start working for a maelstrom destro staff (or two). You can switch Refreshing Path for Twisting Path, and replace Reaper's Mark with Elemental Blockade (wall of elements). Everthing else looks just fine imo. If you get Kena (and learn to manage your resources while having it always active), wall of elements + vma destro, and switch to twisting path, those three things alone will push you to 20k single target.

With your setup, I recommend 100 points into Elemental Expert, 67 points into Elfborn, and 1 point into Spell Erosion (allocated according to the current CP cap).

Nerieneth is a good alternative for Kena, but ultimately you want Kena. You can reach 40k max magicka without using Undaunted passives. I recommend using all light instead, which will help you perma-sustain kena.

Unsustainable? Did they change something with Thieves Guild?

I'm on Xbox and have no problem keeping it up constantly with my damage rotation. From what I've heard the only time Nerien'eth is better is on phase bosses who you can't consistently get a full rotation on.

Kena is definitely sustainable. In my magblade dps set I pull 20k+ on most fights and I have kena active as close to 100% of the fight as possible. I only have 800 magicka recovery. If I can sustain it, I'm betting most people will find a way to make it work without drastically altering their builds. I have no recovery glyphs, no set bonuses for recovery, I don't use a recovery mundus, and the vast majority of my CP are in reduced cost, with only ~30 into recovery. Between Siphoning Attacks and Major Intellect (from potions, which is active 100% of the time with the alchemy passives) I very rarely run out of magicka.

This is rather subjective, but NBs are probably the best class for sustaining Kena.

Yeah a few, basically it's like 80-90 In elemental, then the other split between spell crit and dots, leaning a bit more to crit.

I agree with this. If a NB can't sustain it, no one can... Also, make sure the healer has elemental drain and/or siphon spirit active. Also, we use the magicka balls (undaunted) in aoe fights a lot.
