This would be both good and bad. PC players would likely dominate console players but I would kinda be excited to group with some of my PC friends....

technical wise. not possible. PC/PS/XB are most likely having their own server + database. It will be a nightmare trying to merge all the data.

I'm pretty sure Sony has been up to do cross platform for a while. Microsoft has been the one holding it back. Until they decided to merge Xbox with Windows 10, they probably realized how big of a gap there is between XBONE and PS4 lolol. They want that extra $$ they missed out from Sony whoopin dat asssss in Console sales.
