Chest items already bound

I've just picked up some Briarheart guards in a chest; when I tried to sell them in a guild store I was told that I couldn't sell items bound to other players (on checking the guards they were shown as bound). They went straight from the picked chest into my inventory so why are they showing as bound; this is the second time that this has happened to me?

✭✭A lot of BOP items become 'crush items' as soon as I get to a forge to break them down.The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.1 -

✭✭There's been BoP items long before the new DLC.I have hated it soo badly.I can see bind on Equip,but not on pick up.Causes me to be forced to decon them or sell them for pennies.0
