Part of me thinks that this is the worst idea ever, catering to people that can't stand to lose or appear weaker than anyone else or who are so impatient at the character generator that they just click whatever or are too cheap to buy the pack that let's you play the race you want, where you want.
But then the rational part of my brain just says "lol, let them spend all their money chasing the new meta every month. IDGAF."
I play Argonian because I like to be different. YMMV.
And race change will indubiately come hand-in-hand or in the wake of this recustomization feature.Longer term, expect to see information about systems like a character customization shop so you can change your character's gender, appearance, name, etc., player housing, and other systems that we'll announce in the future. We'll have much more information about all of these as the year progresses.

We all know yall are $ hungry developers. Just imagine the profit potential here!
How many times people would race change the same toon!!
You had a typo in ur post, i fixed it for ya.sirrmattus wrote: »I'll gladly pay $50 for race change.
Khajiit sorc, let everyone else chase their tails after a meta that will shift after every patch. They can fund the next dlc.
Once race changes are released, Zos still has every right to continue changing passives for balance. I can't wait to see the whining the day race changers realize that passives aren't going to always stay the same and they'll have to either stick with what they chose or buy their way through another race change and another.... /popcorn

When I decided that I should have a sneaky Nightblade character, there wasn't a chance that I'd pick a Nord or an Orc. Now of course I have friends who are Nords, and I've even played cards with an Orc or two who didn't cheat (as much as I did), but let's face it. With the amount of noise they make lumbering through a room, these aren't the races you want to have stealing some kingdom's crown jewels. For that, you want either a Bosmer or a Khajiit, and, as I said, I don't like elves. So I made a Khajiit.
Khajiit like to sneak anyway.
