Gold Jewelry From VMA Weekly

Was this not the patch they were supposed to reintroduce the gold jewelry?

If so, they did not. 6 toons on the weekly and no jewelry... everyone else in guild/friends list same thing.

@ZOS_GinaBruno can you confirm if we were or were not supposed to get gold jewelry added back in?

It would be more then 10 spell damage and I'd like to min/max builds where I can.

See the two images below for comparison. Gold jewelry makes a difference and certain stats increase x3 (I.E. the enchant and trait).

For those who have Gold Jewelry, it's pretty much rare now since you can't get it from the weekly anymore.

We've found out where RNGesus is camping at least, who else but someone with everything could so confidently want more additives to an already astronomically high drop rate.

I hadn't gotten a leaderboard for over a month so I stopped doing them.

I wish they'd update them. Several of those sets are things I really like.

Poisonous Serpent would certainly be useful for stam poison builds again now with the change to Mighty.

They changed it in a previous patch to be more beneficial to anyone who completed arena. 50% from final chest and 100% guarantee for mail. Adding back in the gold jewelry in the mail wouldn't skew drop rates of the maelstrom weapons by that much. They could make it 50/50 chance of either or.

Same RNGesus stuff like in vMA. In fact, I am still mad that we can not get jewelry from vMA anymore. Like Winterborn jewelry

vMA Drop:
Jewelry can only drop in Stage 8 + 9
Armor Pieces drop from Stage 1 to 9
Maelstrom Weapons drop only on stage 9

So the chances that you actually get a Jewelry piece is SO *** LOW OMFG WTF.

@ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom or someone... can you comment on the jewelry drop from vma? I'm pretty sure guys promised us this prior to launch of TG yet you guys have been pretty silent on the subject. But as @Alcast mentioned above, it's pretty disheartening to only get jewelry from only 2 stages and the drop chance for that is still extremely low.

The stats don't increase x3. Increase by 3 times is the same as a 300% increase, but your stamina recovery is at just a little over 7.5% increase from purple to gold. It's even less than that for your trait (little over 3.5%).

Sorry you misunderstand and I typed that wrong.

You get an increase per jewelry so that's x3.

For example... purple healthy trait is 924 while gold is 957 which is a difference of 33. So you get 33 health per piece of gold jewelry totaling 99 health (not a huge number, but again min/max).

Also take the enchant for example... using the above pics as reference again, purple you get 157 stam reco while gold enjoys 169, difference of 12, totaling 36 for 3 gold jewelries. So again for min/max especially if you use different enchants such as wep/spell damage it makes a difference.

Let's also take a look at the set bonus from purple to gold:

stam - 933 - 967... difference of 34
health - 1027 - 1064... difference of 37
stam - 933 - 967... difference of 34
(ignoring 5piecs bonus I hope you guys my point by now lol)

So from purple to gold you get an increase of 68 stamina and 37 health.... again these aren't large numbers, but add it all up and it makes a difference when trying to min/max.

For set bonuses too, don't forget that your actual set bonus stats are based on the lowest quality equipped piece. If the rest of your set is yellow, but you have purple Jewelry then you get whatever the purple bonuses are not the yellow. Every little bit adds up to a greater whole.

first 2 weeks of introduction of vMA, it did.
then players complained about RNG and weapons chance and now vMA weekly dont give anything beside weapons

Which is why I was excited to hear that they were going to be bringing back the gold jewelry from VMA... but then they didn't.... QQ

Yeah, and then they stripped it of the loot table.

I would like to the it's reintroduction, along with the fix to this abysmal rng system that they have. I understand the pain players have grinding something over and over to show nothing for it.

Dont people know that if you enchant a purple ring with a golden glyph of say magicka regen, it will be the same value as if it was enchanted on a gold ring. The power lies in the glyph.

Actually the bonuses from each individual piece are averaged together.

You're still missing out on all the other upgrades. While individually the upgrades may seem small, adding them all together make a difference. As I said, for min/max'ing it's a big boon.

Actually it would be ncie idea to reintroduce gold jewelry, BUT only if drop rates of weapons would be buffed. Otherwise it will be virtually impossible to get a decent weapon for those cursed by RNGesus.
For example, they could make it this way:
Stage 8 (and maybe 7) chest drops any piece of jewelry in any trait.
Stage 9 drops random weapon with random trait. It will still be unlikely to get a perfect weapon on 1st run, but its more fair for everyone and more importantly, time spent on the arena wont be completely wasted, which is more encouraging that the current system.
To keep replay value, they could add something else - for example, let the monsters drop collectible items (fleshy symbiont etc). Or add a small chance to get spiderkith skin or dremora skin (just a skin, like Dro'Matra). Or cahnce of getting Stonefire scamp pet. Or small spider daedra pet. Something that is nice to have, but doesnt affect your char's stats.

i go for only jewelry at 8th stage and only weapons at last stage, all randoms
for vMA weekly only jewelry and weapons
for me there is no point of going vMA again without a reason (jewelry) since its done to many times and more weapons arent needed.. i want a reason to continue my eso+ !

For some people, weekly is the only chance to get weapons reliably.
I agree that golden jewelry is needed as well, after all, it would make weekly rewards kinda exclusive - you can upgrade purple weapons, but not purple jewelry. But weapon drop chances are too low and unreliable, so just adding jewelry to weekly loot table without fixing weapon drop chances would be just stupid.

but 100% weapon chance on a trial is ridiculously high
i've been waiting for legendary winter born jewelry since months and people still did not get their weapons? no ***
dont give me an example of one guy who did vMA 50000 times and didnt get his desired weapon
there are 50000 other players who got theirs.
