Was in the IC memorial district to cash in some bone shards. I killed a couple packs of adds and then noticed someone was throwing shards at me.... all the adds were dead... so i think, "must be a nightblade...but shards?". So i aoe.. see nobody but still getting hit... Then im spinning around in circles trying to find this person and they are invisible!!! They keep wailing on me.. so i streak my way all the way to the bone shard door. I go inside..spend my 120 shards (which got me 2 arcane willpower rings btw, best part of the adventure lol) and then leave. When i get out the door, i see this DW guy just slowly running right towards me. My guess is its the same guy and he was waiting for me to come out. So i 3 shot him. The end.

I remember a long time ago there was a bug that made NPCs invisible while still attacking you.. but had never had it happen with a player in PVP! Anyone else had this happen to them? Is this something new?

This was on XBOX NA server btw.

    Memorial district you say? Did you look above you? Plenty of places to perch from above.

    dont think there was any buildings they could have hit me from. i was along the back wall for the bone trophy room in a clearing by a fountain. seemed like they were hitting me with melee due to the speed of the attacks and the blocking animation. i guess maybe, since i did not look up.

    i found the video of what happened.. not sure if they made any changes with TG to prevent this from happening but yeah.. here it is.

    If anyone has an explanation other than a bug please share.

    It's quite comin for me not to be able to see allies until they revive at a way shrine but never seen it with enemies....!! But I guess that would make sense :p

    Yes I've seen this happen a few times on the PC 64-bit client as well. Invisible NPC's and invisible players. For some reason they just don't finish loading on your screen sometimes and it's really bizarre.
