error 201 - unable to login the last hour?

I was in game then my computer crashed now i cant login i get the error 201 and the announcements not loading. Same problem heaps of other people have had.

Anyone else? USMEGASERVER

yeah ive tried. my avg has completed malfunctioned saying it doesnt recognize my license number. cant log into steam either

Just remove AVG, all it does is hog your resources and doesn't give that much protection to begin with. Error 201 is a connectivity error, or using an outdated launcher version. Since you're having problems with other programs, it's most definitely a connectivity error.

Just remove AVG to start with. Then put in exceptions in the Windows Firewall for eso.exe and all files associated with The elder scrolls online. Should give the program access to the internet again.

Seems like they know that their program is bad, you can download an AVG remover from their own site, try that out: http://www.avg.com/gb-en/utilities
