Does anyone know if there is a companion app In the works for the console version of the game?

I'd think it would be very awesome and helpful to have one.

I agree and have posted about it before, its needed, and not just ios but all platforms - WP / Android, or just expansion on what you can do In the Smart Glass app

I doubt theyll ever put the time into a serious companion app like the destiny one. I know there are some player made ones but I don't know what they do

There are no companion apps that I know of for the game.

What would you want the app to do though? I am not sure how an app would bring more to the game.

Unlike other MMO games like EVE Online where there is a lot of information you can/want to read outside of the game like mails, skill queues etc I can't think of much ESO needs for that.

Yeah some thing I would love to just be able to check the map or look at quest objectives I mean or functions like what you can do with the fall out 4 companion

If it let me control my in game bank sell/buy on my guild store and train my horse I would be cool.

Guild chat functions to keep in touch even when your away or even being able to look at your inventory even if you can't manipulate anything in game just knowing the stats on the new piece of gear u just got with out having to stop in game and open menu also research queues and a lot of other possibilities

Doubt you will see any of that functionality. It would be too much effort for limited returns for them to create and maintain an app. The only way I could see this being something possible would be to have an API tied to your account (the same was as EVE Online) and let third party developers work with it.

Even then they're going to need a team of people to maintain the API.

As for guild chat just get Slack and have everyone sign up with a trash email they don't care if others know about.

There are some apps about ESO. But I presume you mean an app to connect to the game to chat or do stuff.

Not so sure imo. ZOS could add such an app and let it works for eso+ members only.

With things like access to

• Guild Chat
• Bank
• Mails
• Horse feed
• Craft tables
• Guild Store
• Writs

No doubt such an app will have much success without giving pay to win advantages.
