Character and Guild Name Plates-When?

I heard awhile back these were coming but then again I've heard awhile back A LOT of things were coming..Every MMO from UO on that I've played, and I've played A LOT have had them. Why has it taken soo long to get this implemented? To me this is a core feature that has to be in an MMO. I've been playing ESO since day one and most of the time unless I'm grouped up with folks, all of these nameless characters running around could be NPCs as far as I know. I shouldn't have to chase someone down and get close enough to interact with a player just to get their name. I looked briefly for an eta on this feature but unfortunately I'm at work so my digging is limited. When is this coming?

This is exactly the intension of no plates floating over characters and it is fine as it is imho.

I kind of like it the way it is. There are times when I wonder who's in what guild, but I'd rather not have text running around everywhere. It's already enough (IMO) that I have to see "Master Wizard" and the like under someones name.

I think one of my main gripes is not knowing what guilds people are in. As someone who has hunted high and low for a very active guild it would be nice that if I saw a group of folks working in a coordinated fashion in RVR or Rping in town that I could easily see they were a guild and then go look them up online for further information. On the flip side, I'm sure there are guilds that have guild meetings and are out in RVR that would love others to see they work as a guild and take interest for those same reasons to increase their family size. Sure, there's a lot of players who play ESO as a single player experience. I see them every day. I play my MMOs for the massively multiplayer experience, not Skyrim. Both choices are fine but please give me, optional if you wish, basic MMO tools.

They could remove that Master Wizard tag and put in a guild tag and I think that would be a great first step. IMO of course..

I would like some form of "Contact" method. There are Guilds that I know exist but I haven't found any members to yet. I'd like to be able to contact the GM / Leadership of a Guild in one way or another.

But having to see everyone's Guild under their name...I wouldn't want that.

Perhaps if they had their guild tag under their name it would help. One of those guild's members could be standing right next to you and you'd never know it!
