Poison Injection Questions

1) Poison Injection: Poison injection does poison damage up front, and then also a DoT. The DoT does increased damage on enemies under 50% health. Wondering about the mechanics of the DoT.

a) Has anyone tested how much the damage is increased on targets under 50%?

b) Does this damage increase the lower the enemies health goes? For example, one target has 24% health, and one has 49% health. Is the damage increase the same for both targets, or does it scale up against lower health targets like Executioner from 2H?

c) Does the DoT recalculate over the 10 seconds based on the targets health, or do you need to be sure to apply it when the target is under 50% for the bonus. Ex. A target is at 70% when Poison Injection is applied. The DoT is ticking at the normal tooltip damage. After 4 seconds the targets health drops below 50%. Does the DoT damage increase for the final 6 seconds, or will it still be “locked in” at the original damage value since it was applied when health was 70%

    a) The damage increase is dynamic, based on how much missing health. I am unsure of exact %'s, but it's roughly double.

    b) Yes, the damage will increase for every % missing past starting at 50% and going to 0.1%. In your example, the one with 49% would have poison injection tick for less damage, and the one at 24% would have it tick much much harder.

    c) As I stated in a, it is dynamic and will scale in damage as soon as any change in health occurs. You do not have to reapply any DoT's in the game for them to react to increases of stats or innate scaling, they will do that automatically.
