Templar CC Javelin and the House

Why is the main class cc available to templars designed so that it pushes the enemy away from you, if Wrobel's whole thing is about a templar setting up a "house" lol? Set down a rune focus and a cleanse then you javelin the enemy out of all your buffs you just finished setting up, seems poorly designed IMO. If the whole schtick about the "templar house" is true and not just an excuse for poor design then give us templars something like fossilize that makes it harder for people to leave our house.

I think blazing spear is more in line with the "in house" CC while javelin is supposed to limit how many people enter your house at once. Obviously this doesn't really work in practice because the general flooding people do in cyrodiil as well as javelin costing an arm and a leg and the magicka one doesn't even have a stun. Its really terrible that Templars aren't given any CC to "defend" our "house"

Well. For stamplars Javelin-> Crit rush is a pretty high dps combo.

    Yup...

and followed by executioner (weaving a light attack) is even better.
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

    Why? Cause @Wrobellogic thats why.

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

Ultimately, any method of entering an enemy keep without breaking down the door is considered an exploit. Thanks for checking!

They did not mention it in the patch notes, it now does have a stun. I was a little surprised also.

I'm not sure they didn't just adjust the tooltip to be honest. The stun seems that it is just the length of time the knockback takes to animate fully. The affected person does not sit there for an additional 1.8 seconds after the knockback, that is for sure.

Either that or it is a true stun but they start the timer at the beginning of the knockback instead of at the end. Either way, it is functionally the same CC as before the patch, minus the distance increase.
