I'm honestly surprised. I thought the no CP campaign would at least be an interesting twist to the current meta of the game. I'm probably going to slot it as my guest campaign when it comes out for consoles anyways

Yah, typically, this time of night, there's at least 2-3 bars of population present prior to TG release. Now, it's down to 1 bar or less... Granted, it's early and only time will tell. Still, I think everyone likes their CP and doesn't enjoy running out of stam/mag etc.

The main guilds probably left for True or Had, since they put lots of work into specific builds based around CP. Regular players might still enjoy the campaign, but when the entire map is yellow it loses its appeal real fast.

I use to quite disaprove of this move. Having no cp. No offense. But then again as time passes. We can change are mind. But from what I been reading on the forums. Very interesting and now I decided to just give no CP Azura Star a go. So I am with you. I will try this new change when it is released on consoles to

its an AD buff server. I dealt with it in hopesfire and haderus, i will not put up with it a 3rd time. I will stay in BwB and pop into Azuras from time to time, as I refuse to play in PvP campaigns with CP enabled.

AD needs to come to an agreement to at least not take the other faction's 3 home keeps so this campaign has a chance to get competitive.

EP and DC players are probably logging in, seeing the whole map yellow and going elsewhere.

Pretty much, EP and DC players are too busy on TF to care about Azuras. I've actually gone to Azuras on a V1, there's just nobody there. Three people. No groups. All Yellow world.

Meanwhile EP on TF was rocking a ridiculous size Zerg, it was fun.
  • Monk_Slayer
I wouldn't go so far as to say Azuras is an AD buff server, even if that still existed, and that I am mainly AD. I'd say it's nearly equal on all sides in terms of population, or used to be.

I would love for azura to get medium to high pop. without poplocked and cp i guess that the lag is much less than before but i dont want to play on an empty camp eihter.

Keep us posted on thsi please if it gets competive i will consider coming there

    I told you so.

It doesn't matter that AD is holding all the keeps. That doesnt stop people from logging into Haderus or Trueflame.

Nobody wants to play without CP because 50% of our power was taken away and put into that system.

Non-CP Campaigns will never be popular.

You're partially right about the equal population. Go take another look at it. Nobody is playing. 0/0/0 is all equal.

It should be a good place for early/new veterans to play, but they apparently prefer TF - even if they do lose most fights.

I still don't get why people refer to these type of servers as buff servers. This was true back in the day when bonuses carried over to pvp. Today, there are no buff servers. Never got this statememt. It's not like the alliance is like hey let's kill everything so we can maintain these buffs on an empty server we won't fight on anyway.

    I digress.

A few things to keep in mind...

TG is not even through its first weekend, so many players will be doing the content and farming the new stuff. Also, many pvp players are zeroing up harder because they are trying to grind out gear from rotw. Last, there are a bunch of farm groups 8n the sewers getting new motifs and what not. In fact, a good time to go to sewers for pvp.

Just give it a few weeks and let the game get back to status quo.

O and don't forget, many new games out. Give people time to get over the honeymoon phases of those games.

I tried it today, and I was the only player in the DC sewers for over an HOUR. Which would have been great except...

... no CP totally breaks my build! IC mobs are not meant to be solo'd with 0 CP. Pulling only small groups of mobs was extremely painful. I'm not going to give up on Azura's, but it's clear I'm going to have to have a special build just for 0 CP campaigns.

Why would those of us with CP?

    There is no point...

Most of us already reset skills just for the changes ect. Not going to reset again AND craft new enchants to use a build not built around CP.

I said it before & I will say it again, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

They took the most popular PvP realm and ruined it.

What they should have done was add another for non CP... or they should have done it to BwB

They also removed Axe, without replacing it with another so what we're stuck with now is longer than usual que times to log in to PvP @ night...

And laggy AF games due to the numbers, which wouldn't be a problem if they fixed the lag issue because the game's engine should theoretically be able to handle even more ppl @ one time.

Actually I got this one wrong, there were people playing it last night, and fighting on multiple fronts.

It was sort of fun playing in a campaign where my V1-V3 toons were competitive and not just Zerg fodder. There was zero lag. Most of the other players were lower level alliance-war, so everyone wasn't just running around mob-spamming AOE abilities. There was absolutely none of the usual one-shot death *** like the regular campaigns that you usually get with less than 50 CP.

I'll try the sewers next, but as someone already pointed out, you need to bring one friend and you'll be fine.

It was fun, try it if you don't mind a change of pace. Bring an alt that isn't maxed out on CP or roll a new one, you might enjoy it.

Yeah. I'm definitely slotting it as a guest campaign when I can get back in. Mainly I just want to see how well I do without CPs and tinker with builds. And the zero lag sounds like a dream.

Azuras star on PS4 EU has already died. Lots of reds and blues have quit!

The last meaningful azuras campaign is gonna be won by the yellows with a ridiculous lead 15000 or something.

When the TG beta hits PS4 at the end of march azuras will be empty, the yellows will find a new campaign, if the game actually works that is.

No CP? I got a toon on the NA server if i want that, thanks.

I asked this yesterday in group while tromping through the Had IC Sewers. Apparently there are people who like to do quests in Cyro. You basically have a whole map to slowly grind up AP doing quests, just so you can get those caltrops for your trials. You can sit in the caves grinding without getting ganked. Then you have an empty sewer system to get stones or whatever.

Sounds boring as hell to me but if your end game is trials and dungeons then i guess it makes sense.

One of the problems in Azura, is all the mobs are still set to be challenging to people WITH CPs, so you won't see many players farming the IC sewers or city.

We've been playing over there more and more. I can honestly say it feels like the game was meant to be played - you have to manage your resources or quickly go OOM, there aren't the stupid one shots that there are on the CP campaigns, and best of all no lag... I like it - and I'm capped on CP so can play either.
