Change Inner Light / Flames of Oblivion back!

Why were these skills even changed??? I used them on BOTH bars for toggles, the inner light effect is now available as long as the skill is slotted, but the flames of oblivion only lasts 15 seconds for casting fire balls at enemies. And the biggest hit here... Is that without them being toggles, there is no cool visuals active at all times.

    Biggest disappointment of this update was the fact I lost my cool glowing eyes.

    I HATED the glowing eyes on the Inner light! So i love this change! I will admit tho that inferno still falls behind Inner light. So inferno needs to change. Inner light is fine as it is tho.

    I never liked the glowing eyes, but I miss the pseudo-flames in my arms. I stopped using Flames Oblivion because of that jumping tom was making me dizzy and without a way to turn it off (like Magelight) is prohibitive for the sake of my headaches

    It'd be pretty simple to make a toggle in the graphic options to turn toggle visuals on and off... Everyone I know in-game preferred the visuals. Didn't realize some people didn't.

    I loved the glowing eyes and the effects on the arms, this one also thinks Flames of oblvion so long as the fire does not rotate around you, is a cool effect to have.

    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    The toggle changes are much nicer than before. No longer will I only have 6 abilities in my rotation because I HAVE to have 2 toggles. Just put inner light on your main bar and inferno on your back bar. Just keep your inferno up when you rotate bars. Not hard, and much better.

    You still need it on the second bar to get the bonus magicka and crit rate from inner light.

Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

    Glowing eyes and pseudo cold flames were indeed very cool. VERY cool.
    Maybe it's possible for Zeni to revert that, but leave "magic balls" out. Current option with magic balls being activated only when searching for hidden enemies is very good and logical.

    I too miss the glowy thinga-ma-jig what with all the sparkling and glowing and what not. Please consider bringing this back!

    I love this change, but I'll be happy to have a "magelight" memento/costume. Both advantages at the same time.

    I loved the glowing eyes on my Dark Elf NB in xivkyn light armor very cool. Bring back glowing eyes!

    I agree, I hate this change. The fact that I still need to have it on both bars to get the "slotted" bonus, and then add in that it only fires the fireball every 5 seconds as its main ability (does that and adds the slotted bonus, and that's it!) and only lasts 15 seconds, so, it fires THREE times and then needs recast?? Why would anyone be ok with this change? They made this ability almost useless, and as a final power, that is horrible, nearly unforgivably bad.

    Consider the other options:
    Eruption 3xMagicka Cost Damage PER enemy
    Inhale 1xMagicka Cost Damage PER enemy
    Flames 3.5xMagicka Cost Damage, Single Target (despite saying area, it only fires at one target every 5 seconds)

    So, if only fighting a single enemy (coughs, yeah, that happens a lot, right?) then Flames is best bang for buck, but as soon as fighting 2 or more, Eruption becomes better, and if 3 or more, Inhale becomes comparable, if not better (while Eruption continues to be better). Sadly enough, even Elemental Ring (Destro Staff) is better at 3 enemies, and Clench is arguably on par (as a first power!!) due to the added elemental effect and being able to target exactly who you want, where Flames targets whoever it wants to within range, and might not be helping you burn down the target you want to kill right away. Which is another bad thing, it's a single target spell, but it isn't controllable... so, all in all, the ability really sucks now.

    Sorry for the thread necro, but, I have been away for some time, and just came back, and this was the most recent thread about this atrocious decision they made. If all you want is the extra crit, slot Radiant, at least then you get 50% damage from stealth attacks too!
