FPS drop

So when I went to do my normal Wrothgar WB run last night I noticed my FPS is about half what it was the day before. Have made no changes other than the new content being added. So I was getting 45-60 FPS, I'm now at a steady 25-30 which is frankly unacceptable given I wasn't surrounded by 100 people. Haven't tried going to the new area but the old areas should have no performance hit.

Also of note is, as I approached the Hostel (EVERY time last night), I would get a brief 1 sec loading screen about 10' away from it and when I returned my FPS would be about 10 and climb back to 25ish.

i'm having exactly the same problem and i was playing before around 45 to 75 FPS in wrothgar, now i can't get more than 30 FPS. the worst place is Hew's Bane, it's almost impossible to play, it's very rare to get more than 20 FPS, but in all Tamriel i got a drop of the usual frame rate to the half. there's no fun at all playing ESO now, it would be great if they remove the update which clearly ruined the gameplay.

FPS fix didn't fix anything, game still unplayable in any kind of meaningfully sized PvP scenario. This comes on top of the lag that is still ever present.

maybe an option to disable the Thieves Guild and all the new DLC when it's not in use would help. or... are the people without the Thieves DLC having the same problem? if not, it could be a nice solution. i wouldn't mind to remove the new DLC until they fix it and continue playing everything else as i was before the useless update.

Yeah, just finished my round in cyro. It seems it was my good bye tamriel round. On top of all bugs, technical problems, *** treatment of clients i really dont have patience to wait for another miracle dlc that will come and solve all the problems once and for all.

Dont remember when was the last time i really had true fun in ESO. Good luck to all suckers still enabling that level of incompetence by putting money to Z.

I made the OP at work and wasn't aware of the hot fix. I DLed it when I got home and, while it IS better (I am back up to 50's when alone) when I am in any city or around others my best FPS is only around low 30's (is usually 45ish)

I'm also experiencing extremely long load screens. From character roster to actual log in was nearly TWO MINS.
