Strange sound in 64 bit client

Actually the game has had this problem from the beginning with computers with multiple cpus. My machine has 2 cpus both are 6 cores with windows i have 24 cores in total. What I have had to do and still have to do even with the 64 bit client is go to the msconfig.exe file and go to advanced bootup and basically limit my computer to 4 cores. Right now I bet some of the these users who are running into the sound problem will also experience textures not loading instead they'll see a bright purple or pink objects and some objects not even appearing at all. The client simply isn't handing multi threading correctly.

And if you turn down the Effects Volume to zero, instead of random noises you'll hear random bursts of loud static.

I've also noticed that sometimes the ambient music doesn't loop correctly, but that seems to be separate as it happens in both 32 and 64 bit clients.

Weird. The 'white noise' & pink animals went away for me, after the hotfix. Only trouble encountered was trying to get my char in to first person mode.

Exactly. Thats what happened to me especially when i was playing dungeon. every sounds mixed together. its really really disturbing.

What really got to me was when the sounds and static overlapped and it ended up sounding like howling, screaming, grunting, growling, ripping, rending... All at once...

Wow. Which dungeon was that?

It was everywhere I went, and very frequent. Disturbing doesn't begin to cover it.
