ESO crashing after hitting play

Screen is going black with eso crash reporter coming up before the intro cinematics (logos) even start.
Anyone encountered this problem and managed to fix it? I tryed all potential fixes i found so far (repair, deleting documents/eso, checking drivers, firewall, launching a game directly, properties compatibility mode ect. - nothing works. Now im trying the full reinstall. Game worked nicely pre-patch and PTS worked for me too (1st 2 weeks or so - after that i havent played on pts so not sure). After the patch was installed im crashing on both live and pts.

    Try setting the correct GPU for whichever client you are using and run it as administrator if needed.
    Literally eat my assflaps.

    Uninstalled.

    Are you running Fraps or any other programs which have a overlay?

    The games initial launch doesn't like some of these programs.

    Not running any side programs. atm at 6% of clean install :(

    hm maybe becasue of the switch to directX 11? My graphic card supports only 10.1.
    I would be sure thats the reason, but the switch was apparently made in PTS v2.3.0 and that version worked fine for me. the change was one of the reasons i played pts, to see if game still works.

    If nothing works and support says its directiX11, then i guess id just have to borrow a comp or get a newer GPU. Still hoping reinstall will fix it for some reason :P
