Cloak and DoTs

I thought cloak was supposed to suppress DoTs now on both morphs. The tool tip only says that shadowy disguise grants a critical. Did they nerf it more?

Yes it's nerfed. You could run purge but even on a Magika build purge is expensive since its aoe group focused ability

As far as I've noticed is that both morphs make dots do 0 damage for the duration, but dark cloak gives the minor protection buff 8% reduced damage taken. Or am i wrong?

It doesn't say in the ability tool tip that they suppress DoTs. Do they actually do that still?

They were supposed to stop the dot ticking whilst you were cloaked, as soon as you're revealed, the dot ticks as normal. At least that's what I thought.

And you get the 8% damage reduction for X seconds after coming out of dark cloak

Is that what it actually does, though. The tooltip makes no mention of DoTs whatsoever.

BOTH morphs are supposed to suppress/pause dots while you are in cloak.

Shadowy will give you the 100% crit on attack
Dark cloak will give you the minor protection buff

There are a lot of reports of dots currently pulling you out of cloak which completely defeats the point of the change (it is not intended but also no eta on fix)

From the patch notes...

Shadow Cloak: This ability and its morphs (should mean every version of cloak, morphed or un-morphed) will now suppress damage over time effects that are already applied to the caster while the invisibility is active.

The damage over time will remain, but will tick for 0 damage if you are invisible, and will tick for the normal damage if you come out of invisibility.
