WHERE'S MY FREE RESPEC??!!!

Here's the thing.. Let's say I spend 14k gold per skill respec and 3k for cp respec and multiply that to 8 characters
17k x 8 = 136k gold

Tbh I'm not rich so I don't want to spend my gold for this.

I have friends who feel the same way so I don't get why they didn't offer 1 gold for respec like what they did before since it's a big change in skills and CP.

Please let me have my respec.

Exactly! Tho the prices of mats will probably drop in a few weeks or so since all the nodes in hew's bane are v16.

This is why we can have nice things apparently people complained last time they respeced everyone so once again they pandered to the loudest forum complainers. At least at this rate well get a free Respec next DLC.

Yeah people complained about the respec but they're from console... What's so hard about spending 5 minutes of your time per character anyway.

Hell, I'd spend an hour respeccing than spending *** 136k.

When the base game requires a reset, not just for the dlc, they should mail out an option to everyone. Somehow they gave everyone their collectibles. A respect item shouldn't be that much harder. Make a note, Z!!

Honest question...what makes you think the complainers were (solely) from console?

I am a console player, and I don't buy into the 'us vs them' BS. If memory serves me correctly, both PCers and Consolers complained...which was evident based upon forum posts on differing patch release dates. So, it was whiny turds from both communities that ruined it for all of us.

I think this will be such a hassle for them...but they already handed out an almost free respec before by making the cost just 1 gold for a respec. I don't see why they're not doing this.

I'm with you. A one-time 100g respec for all characters should do the deal.

Wrong move on the part of ZOS. Players should not have to pay for the changes they made to the skills and champion system. I free respec should of been given for both the skills and champion points.

I feel ya. I have eight toons, and all of them will need at least a CP reset. It will be expensive, and will hurt, but life will go on I guess. Just hope people learn their lesson about the constant QQ...sometimes you get what you want...and it turns out to be a very bad thing

The changes aren't so huge as to warrant a respec, to be fair. Reading the patch notes there's increases and decreases and the removal of certain effects but overall it's nothing game breaking for you to still use that ability. In fact a lot of the changes benefit those skills and some just reduce their effectiveness without killing their effectiveness.

Respeccing should be free. Hell, I wouldn't necessarily be against allowing people to have limitless skill points. Money and a limit on your skill points serve as one thing; a barrier. That barrier creates incentive to do one of two things; spend a long amount of time making yourself in-game rich, or go to the crown store. Either way it's more hours logged into the game, possibly with a subscription, or it's money directly in ZOS' pocket. Pretty much everything, every little mechanic from respeccing to horse riding training, revolves around incentivising the spending of real money to cut out the time taken to perform monotonous tasks in ESO.

Your Time / Your Money = ZOS' Profit.

My advice is to do plenty of research for your build, respec sparsely, and sell everything to guild stores so that over time you have fall-back funds for a build change around. Don't drain your wallet.
