Can Not Load Character

Sorry if this has been answered, but I've tried Googling this subject and I haven't found anything that has worked.

I logged on earlier today, bought Thieves Guild and did some running around checking things out for a couple of hours. Then I closed the game to update my add-ons. I then relaunched the game, logged in and selected one of my characters. After a while, I get kicked off and I get a message that an unknown error has occurred. This has been going on for a few hours. It happens with any of my characters.

I already run ESO as Admin, I tried restarting my computer, I restarted my internet, I have Direct X 11, and I repaired. I'm not very tech savvy though. If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

My problem is getting to the character selection screen. I have tried 10 times trying to load past the log in and can't. I am gonna try back tomorrow morning and see if it is cause everyone and their mother is trying to log on to buy the thieves guild just like I was.

Apparently one of my add-ons was causing the issue. I disabled all add-ons, then I was able to log in. Still not sure which one it was, I still have to look into that. Maybe this will help someone else.

I wanna say Thank you. I was having the exact same problem until I disabled all my addons. Once logged in though I slow renabled my addons one by one. I didn't have any problems til I reenabled MM (Master Merchant) So I believe that's the problem in my case. Too bad, I love that addon.
