Is the 64 bit client available with the Thieves Guild DLC?

If so, where is the client? I did a search on the forums and no one mentions the actual location. I did a search of all the ESO folders after downloading today and all I have on my system is the 32 bit version.

My understanding is they haven't implemented the 64 bit client yet, according to what I read from @ZOS_GinaBruno

I did and its not there only the 32 bit version. I did find this on the forums:

"The current plan is to release the 64-bit client during the first incremental patch once Thieves Guild goes live (which will likely be a week or two after), rather than the day it goes live in order to minimize potential risks since this is a pretty big change."

So is all the 64 bit traffic talking about the 64 bit client on the beta testing server?

Is your Windows installation 32bit or 64bit?

And yes 64bit is released, I currently have it, along with a lot of others.

I'm sorry to hear about everyone else that's having issues with the 64 bit version as mine works fine. No errors, no crashes yet so far. I hope everyone's able to get theirs to work like it should.

Yeah, not to downplay anyone else's issues, but I'm with Rob -- I've had no real issues with the 64-bit client, and have enjoyed better performance to boot. Only thing I've noticed is rarely a random sound will play out of nowhere, which can be quite hilarious in the middle of a Cyrodiil battle.

I have the 64 bit exe but the launcher is still launching the 32 bit client. You can see what is running by looking at processes in task manager.

When I run the 64 bit client my resolution drops to 720p and it looks terrible. The 32bit runs in 1080p and looks amazing.

    What is going on ZoS?

Go into your ESO Installation and find the client folder, it'll be in there. Should be two, the 32 bit version which should show like "eso" or "eso.exe", and the 64bit which is the same thing but a 64, "eso64" or "eso64.exe"

    Example: C:\Program files\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client

If it isn't there maybe try running repair in the launcher, launcher might find the missing file.

Otherwise here is my eso 64 bit from my folder exactly: HERE | Drop that into your ESO Client folder where the 32bit eso.exe is, maybe it'll work.

If you do find a 64 bit either mine, or you download it finally with the launcher and are having major problems with FPS with the 64 bit client... Visit my post on the fix: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/2757417

Thanks for the download. I tried a repair and no ESO64 client was loaded. I am currently in the process of a complete reinstall and I still don't see the ESO64 bit client.

    This is really messed up!

you are not missing out on much, it has still issues - after a while you see missing textures replaced with pink - not beautiful.

BTW after and hour of downloading at 2 Mps, I'm at 32% so it will be awhile before I can test the 64 bit client you up loaded for me.

    Thanks again!

    Hows the performance?

I purchased a Geforce 980 TI ACX a month ago and so far I'm getting 60 to 90 FPS at 2560 x 1440 in Fallout 4, Witcher 3, GTV5, and Rise of the Tomb Raider with every setting maxed out, but when I played ESO using the 32 bit client, the best FPS I could get was 33 FPS with all the settings on medium, and the distance and particle setting sliders at the halfway setting; I was really disappointed and was hoping that the 64bit client would get better performance.

Whats your CPU? You can get the best GPU ever, but this game loves to eat up your CPU... It is a single threaded game also.. That is why your FPS would be at a hit.

CPU is an I7 extreme 6 core running at 3.3 GHz with 64 GB of memory and a PCIe SSD.

Like I stated earlier, I have no problems with playing games like Fallout 4, Witcher 3, etc at the maximum settings, so what is ESO different?

BTW, I finally got the 64 bit client after doing a complete reinstall of the ESO client. I still waiting for the download to complete to test out the 64 bit client; at 78% and slowly counting.

How do you get the launcher to default to the 64 over the 32-bit version?

My 64 bit exe didn't do anything. I can wait.

You don't. The launcher is automatically set to launch the 32-bit version. Not sure if this is just until they get the 64-bit version completely fixed or if the launcher will always default to the 32-bit version.

Finally got to test the 64 bit client and the FPS jumped from 35 to 60-90 FPS like my other games that I mentioned in my previous posts. Everything when fine for about 30 minutes and then I got a crash to desktop.

So far things are looking promising, but I didn't have a chance to test the high populated areas yet; maybe next week end.

    Thanks for the help.
