20 mins 'Requesting Character Load'?

So first for the salty crew:

- Yes I can see the yellow stuff above this.
- Yes I have downloaded and installed the new DLC.
- I have been able to log in.

I have tried to load a character for just over 20 mins so far - anyone have any useful info on how long this is taking and whether I need to crash out and try again?

I'm stuck there too. Do you think it has anything to do with video card and DirectX 11 update?

I have a laptop with a Intel HD 4400 video card

Edit: Nevermind it's all good, it was just super slow

i did that and can't login at all anymore . i guess eu servers not fully up, yet

I managed to log in my main character and tried going in the Orsinium outlaws refuge to pick up the Thieves Guild quest, but got stuck in an endless loading screen. Had to crash out of the game. Afterwards I've managed to log in on a different character, but whenever I try to log in my main I get the endless "requesting character load".

HELP!

Now it's timed out and booted me and trying again gets random error codes... 108. 201, 301, Time Out. Client can't retrieve announcements.

Oh well, maybe time to go play somehing else until this shambles works itself out.
