It was actually an intended pun on UPS - the parcel delivery company. But hey tough crowd tonight.
UPS aren't the main parcel carrier/courier in Europe, which is maybe why it fell flat - comedians know to learn something about their audience before cracking their first joke. Its a well known fact that americans cant identify thier own country on a world map, they just point at the biggest land mass and assume its america. The smaller land mass must be canadia or mexicoia or something.
