Swords vs daggers

Using twin blade and blunt you get 5% weapon damage. Thus 2 swords doing 500 each would do 1,000 plus 50 additional. IF I swap out for 2 daggers doing the same damage why does my weapon damage not decrease?

Twin blade and blunt doesn't increase weapon dmg, It's increases your actual dmg (e.g. tooltip dmg) Your spell/wpn power won't increase but if you had a 10000 suprise attack and used two swords you'd have a 10500 SA with the passive, your wpn dmg wouldn't change.

I just wanted to add. A lot of people use Sword's for that extra damage but i really am fond of dagger's. I personally use precise dagger's for even more critical chance and i find i crit heal very often, which is something i really like to take advantage off.

Even though i cannot crit on shield's, it's nothing shield breaker cannot fix. So stacking critical chance/damage is not that big of an issue anymore.

PVE precise is nice.

The Axe bleeds if they are fixed is actually very nice too.

The only people that use swords are magicka builds, pretty sure mace/dagger is better for stamina.

On Stam the daggers would be better if you're doing s crit build but if not go with swords

I prefer swords, even without the passive I like swords.

Even though you can't crit on shields, when you do hit hp, it's good to crit.

Though, you should go with swords, cuz, you know, they're swords.

2x sword = magicka build
2x dagger OR 1x axe + 1x dagger = pve
2x mace OR 1x mace + 1x dagger = pvp

I personally prefer 1x mace + 1x dagger for pvp on my stam NB.
