So... you do realize logically that this environment was bound to happen?

The idea that increasing the number of proxy det-havers by reducing the amount of xp required, is no different than the passage of time. Eventually, theoretically everyone would have proxy det.

Next, only really NB can take advantage of proxy det. If you block it's very tame. A cloaked lotus proxy nb can make it where you don't know it's coming and unblocked.

I wouldn't expect much different than what we have now.

I'm not that sad. For a bunch of reason's.

1: Proxi det should help lag issue's. The more small group's out there taking out big groups the better. However i still think this is just going to empower bigger group's or possibly make lag worse...

2: The Cleaver Alchemist set. This set will be great for ganking or zerg bombing for stamina build's. Not sure if it will even compare against the new DET and Viscous Death combo's ("Magicka Meta") , we will see.

3: Scrolling Combat Text. I can finally refine my build on console since i had nothing to work with before.

4: Radiant Mage Light changes. More people will be running it, which might make Zerg Bombing harder. I DO dislike the the fact i do not have toggled detection anymore though... rip sentry set / RML combo....

5: More Power in number's regardless of coordination. This is a little skeptical. However you cannot really abuse Barrier and Purge like you used to. I think it will be much easier to stop these ball group's with just number's alone. People in ball group's will slowly die out. All it take's is one guy to put down the new buffed siege weapon's and kill them all.

6: STRONG! Siege It's about time we got siege back to it's glory. Keep defense was pretty much none existent unless you had more number's. I'm really hoping this new siege pack's a punch.

I find it funny how crazy thing's change in this game every DLC. I'm still sitting on the fence at this point. I do and i don't want to play Eso.

I still have fun when i play though. I try not to worry so much about the game mechanic's and have fun with the people i play the game with. That's the most important part right?

Boring, no skill ava meta is boring. No justifications required guys, just keep purging and healing like passive guinea piggies. Squee piggy squeeze.

It kills me the number of people who are so salty more people will have proxy.

As if the meta in this game has ever been anything but large groups of people running around found what a few propel tell them to do spamming the same skill over and over.

For NB' its surprise attack/concealed weapon

For Sorcs it's crystal frag for magica or WB/S2W for stamina

For Dragon Nights it's whip for magica or WB/S2W for stamina or maybe puncture bash for those who like to AC

For Templars its magica jabs or stamina jabs mixed with WB and S2W

Could care less if suddenly PVE players have proxy if you stumble into a non-vet campaign over half has proxy anyway

The only issue i have with proxy is that its still very effective in 1v1s or 2v1s, since the 10% damage increase will apply to the one target. If they made the damage increase not start until it hit 2 or 3 targets, that would be better imo.

It is effective bc you can preload damage and therefore increasing your burst...won't change even if they decrease the damage. As long as people have it on their bar for AoE they will also use it for single targets.

You think proximity det is bad wait until reflect no longer works against meteor. Now that will become the new zerg tactic with more aoe and a bigger initial dmg to start with a knockdown plus a snare on top of all that. Lmao to anyone who tries to counter.

Proxy Det got nerfed against single target ... so don't stand close -> proxy det useless - magicka build op? only if players keep on zerging

Its honestly going to be the best meta this game has ever had.

It comes from a veteran DAoC player who ran with the best of a few 8man Hib bomb groups to rek dem Alb/Mid zergs.

Bombard is crazy strong and useful, its one of my favorite stam skills atm.

The Marksman 5pc bonus also nice, 4% stamina cost reduction and 8% increased dmg with Bow abilities to players.

Proxy det should never hit single target for more than 6k and 12k on a group of 6

I don't remember asking for it, but my memory isn't what it used to be. The single target damage is probably too much. I do like tomatos idea.

Not really sure how this is any different than the steel tornado spamming of last several months. Hordes of baddies spamming rally Camo hunters and steel tornado all of which do more damage than proxy det. At least now they will think twice before they spin to win.

ignore those people. if they leave their siege please use it. Better it be used than sitting there decaying. If someone gives you lip ignore them. you have no idea how many people I see leave their siege to go fight some enemies, with the fight lasting almost a full minute, then get mad when someone used their siege so it would not sit there useless, decaying. if someone leaves their siege unattended take it without hesitation, they will get over it.

sure if you see them run after someone...
but when you see them drop three and use all three( which you can easily do efficiently) drop you own damn siege. place you OWN DAMN SIEGE. we could have 20 up but ohh no 3 guys dropped 3ea and a bunch of scrubs come and take them thinking they are helping when they literally are providing nothing, now we have 9 siege up and 20 people so that guy comes on the forum and posts: stop being a scrub your not helping.
