Crit chance and DoT/HoT abilities

Does anybody know when laying a DoT/HoT which crit chance each tick uses? I.e. if I lay a DoT on an enemy and then use an ability that increases my crit chance for x seconds, what is the crit chance for each remaining tick. For example: I have an unbuffed crit chance at 40%. I then use Rapid Regeneration. Each tick has a 40% chance to crit heal. Just after using Rapid Regeneration, I then use Vampires Bane which increases my crit chance by 10%. Will each of the RR ticks now have a 50% crit chance or do they continue using the previous value from when the HoT was applied?

    Damage over Time ticks and Critical Chance stay the same from when they were casted.

    Example:
    • 50% Crit Chance
    • Cast DoT
    • Switch Bars
    The damage of the DoT will still tick at 50% Crit Chance, even after you've used an ability that grants Minor/Major Prophecy/Savagery from your secondary bar. You would need to reapply the DoT to have it so it has the increased Critical Chance from said buff.
