I know that this have been asked before, and that people have said that its never coming and all we can hope for is that zos will add the add-on functions through a patch and so forth but since M$ and Sony will allow mods to run with Fallout 4 (IP owned by bethesda same as ESO), and that you would install these through an in-game menu.
Then wouldn't it be possible to do the same for ESO? Since its the same publisher, the console companies are now allowing mods in some extent.
I mean, I've no knowledge of how the UI mods for ESO actually work but they must change the game assets in some way since the menus etc show up differently which is pretty much the same as mods for skyrim did.
And I know for a fact, since a few of my friends had it, that PC mods, with some work, did work for both Fallout 3/NV, oblivion and skyrim on xbox 360, if you could get past the signed content check on xbox 360 (JTAG / RGH) and that all of those games were built on the same architecture as their pc counterparts and that they just had a few modifications of different file formats / headers to make them compatible on different systems (xbox / PC).
I mean bethesda is making the system for Fallout 4 and when it's released why not try to adapt the already written code to eso and add add-on support for consoles?
Sorry for the rant but I miss having addons that I used to have on the PC when ESO first came out.
