This is the lore that explains why vampires in ESO are not hurt by the sun (unlike what happened to vampires in previous games ranging from eventually killing you or just bringing down health/regeneration).
But for those who enjoy RP as a vampire in ESO, do you stick to being from the in-game breed?
Or have you rolplayed having a strain of vamprism in which sunlight when hitting your skin hurts you?
How have you made it make sense with your character's travels?
My vampire, Jerrin Bloodlette, is weakened by but not killed by the sun. I have written about him meeting one that is killed by the sun. You can play whichever strain you wish, as they all exist within fiction canon. I find it more fun to rp a vampire that has some negative effects. It would be difficult to play one that cannot be in the sun at all considering you cannot "wait" on eso, so not sure how you would deal with the day time inability to play.

I RP my vampire character as the in game breed. However, I do RP that the sunlight is uncomfortable and annoying to him. That's why he always wears a hood and mask outside.
