When I started playing ESO right back at the start I did not like 'Class' being in the game. This was Elder Scrolls after all. So I chose Night Blade mostly at random and did not bother using any skills from the Class skill lines at all.
Later I started to realise that some of the passives in the Class lines where actually useful for what I was playing: a Character with a mix of heath and stamina, heavy and medium armour and a two handed sword. In Class terms DPS/Off tank.
So I did start experimenting with the odd class skill, grabbing the passives and also added the Bow weapon line. As an aside I also have maxed out Werewolf for some shock damage. I use 4 parts heavy armour and 3 medium right now, with Deaths Wind (5) and Night's Silence (4).
The problem...
So I have a very much RP driven, effective PVE character who is ok at adding some AOE DPS in larger PVP fights, it pretty ineffective in smaller or 1 on 1 engagements.
Questions...
Is this really a dead end in terms of PVP?
Are there effective builds for 2 handed? Should I be dropping 2 handed skills in favour of Shadow and Assassination? (does not go well with the character idea, and yes that does matter to me, however I do have over 12 skill points sat idle).
Should I look at something like using the Bow more for PVP and getting a Kyne's Kiss set with a few heavy pieces thrown in?
