Siege ladders suggestion

LeGrandeShekel
What do people think of putting these in the game? Think like Helm's Deep in Lord of the Rings, maybe you need two people standing at the bottom for the ladder to stay in place or be climbable, and someone can stand on the top so that you've got someone on the wall the moment it gets placed. I'd think they should be tall enough for the outer wall but not the inner keep. It'd change the dynamics up a bit, right now taking down the inner and outer walls feels like doing exactly the same thing just shifted fifty metres forward so taking a keep would be a two stage battle. These would also need to be factored into the max siege weapon count, or possibly have their own (perhaps max 5?)

I think it's also important to make sure there'd be enough risk involved that people still set up siege to take down the outer wall, for example when you choose to climb a ladder it shows a climbing animation the whole way up where you can be shot down by defenders on the wall, and also only one player can be climbing at a time. Perhaps also make it that if a player from the attacking team dies while on or inside the enemy walls, they can't respawn at the new forward bases if no part of the wall has been taken down yet. This will make players more hesitant to try and take a keep without destroying any walls, but it'll make it possible to try and take down the defenders before getting inside, and the defenders will have something to do rather than sitting and hoping that a player drifts into range of their snipes. Perhaps also make it that two defenders can together push a siege ladder off the wall, and the attacking team are able to pick it up and re-place it a certain number of times before it's gone - just burning the ladder would get boring and make it pointless for anyone to use. It'll also be good for late night runs where there are few defenders, you'd be able to skip the outer wall.
