Constant errors while in main city and errors when playing

My game has been constantly crashing to the point where playing eso is well... unplayable with the amount of crashes I keep getting in the main city. I crash within a minute of being logged on, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and I still keep getting these crashes, and yet this never happened before. I have given up on spending hours of uninstalling and reinstalling. I dont get a specific error when I crash either. just "We're sorry. The Elderscrolls online has quit unexpectedly." Please help me, I love playing eso and I i cant play in this current state of constant crashes.

I've had a similar problem, but have not yet found a fix. Just wondering, do you have an Nvidia card running recent drivers and have Directx set to version 9 in UserSettings.txt?

I had crashing with D3D9 set, and they became more frequent lately (there was an ESO patch and I upgraded the Nvidia drivers, so not sure which caused it). I changed to D3D11 which resolved the crashing, but introduced a new problem where after about 5-15 minutes of playing the screen just goes black. I can hear the sound of the game and can alt-tab out of it, but even going back there is no video in-game. I have to right-click on the minimized game and close it. Still trying to figure that out
