Reviews on the forums

Wow,..lotsa reviews goin' on.What does "review" mean exactly in regards to the forums? I have seen other reasons but this one is kinda new to me.Not being snarky,just curious.

it means they are going to look through the posts and edit/ remove those that go too far in rule breaking. and if there seem to be too many they will just close the thread or lock it. Sometimes they re open once they edit posts and what not if for the most part it is constructive. hope that helps

I've seen four just within an hour today.By the same person.They didnt seem overly rough when I read through the posts.

I don't think it was for language or anything. It may be because two of them were comparing ESO to other games.

Aside from that, I have no clue.

it could be a negative post that is not constructive as well. doesn't need to be bashing or abnormally rude but if it doesn't have a constructive output or feel to the post it will be closed for review where the mod will take some time looking at the post and determining(to the best of his/her ability) if the post is breaking the rules or not constructive enough. atleast that is how I understand how the for review works.

@ZOS_CoriJ could you shed some knowledge on us about this

this could be a case I have yet to read through it but if I did I could find the reason. being that I have been moderated a few times myself. I can spot the things they look for(mostly)

We are closing this thread for discussing moderator actions.
However, to answer the general question, what is being done is done exactly as described. We are temporarily closing out further commentary until the content of the thread is reviewed. Likely the discussion has been reported or is otherwise cause for concern. This doesn't mean that the thread will be closed for good, just that there is reason for moderator attention.
