Honestly though, it will be super hard mode for DKs. Can you imagine what a whip will hit for w/o +25% Elemental expert?
If we get enough players they might modify the battle spirit system back down since it's going to be pretty nasty on this server.
But i think this is closest we'll get to 1.5 Softcaps.

I played around on the PTS and I don't think the battle spirit on the non-cp campaign is that bad. You can still die just as quick by wrecking blow cheese, people don't do 25% more damage but people don't mitigate 25% either. Healing wards and shields are much smaller to. The battle spirit will still be needed imo.
Also I don't think it's possible for them to have battlespirit change on different campaigns anyway. They can only change the rules for each campaign and not the actual buffs, abilities etc themselves.I will try it.

People won't have CP to mitigate the elemental damage so that kind of balances it out. Also the other classes experience the same problem with their abilities damage not being increased by CP. I think DK's will be fun to play on non-cp campaign because their battle roar will be really clutch.
Will be interesting to see how people balance offence with sustain. It'll be good to see resource management actually mean something again and good players will be rewarded from that.
No cp campaign = not worth my time...I'm not going to craft or purchase new armor sets just to play in a campaign that, more than likely, will be dead or not have good fights
