ok so I cant log in right now no big deal there well kinda one but have ticket in and just waiting around on it so figured I would start a thread of some of the silly/idoit things that people have done in mmo's. Since wow alpha I have played a healer so I have seen a lot of silly things as well as done a lot of them myself.

1. when I started playing wow was on the zep for about 6 hours trying to figure out how to get back to undercity before I realized it was a different zep I had to be on.

Zep = Wayshrine of sorts. The OP couldn't figure out how to use it. For six hours, evidently. Doesn't sound like a very fun game.

To be fair...WoW was not always the super casual friendly MMO it is today.

yea I think that is the problem with it to me I miss the non casual days of logging on and spending the day prepping the raid consumables for the entire healing core and raiding setup for them before spending 4 hrs in a raid there isnt a game out there anymore that requires that amount of dedication to raid endgame but at least eso requires actual playtime to get the good gear.

yea I think the funniest part of it is I had guild mates in that area that never realized what I was doing or that I was even on the zep because I was soo soft spoken back at the start, they were dueling and when we run into each other in games now a days we even still laugh about it. something to the effect of been to booty bay recently.

Well, ESO being my first MMO, i remember on my main char, my first char running around with Resto staff and keeping left mouse button down, while pointing at a player thinking i was healing them.

it does but it doesn't currently cant log into any character on my account sitting in my wheelchair behind my desk after I just subbed for an entire year so no other games during that time frame so just trying to come up with something to do.

I've not played in a while and love to draw, paint, create games, read comics, get hooked on box sets...

Ahh.Well in that case,why not DL Felspire or Skyforge for a fun jaunt? I would say Tera,but it's embarrassing,and a secret guilty pleasure of a game.I find when ESO goes offline,the first two are fun distractions.Nothing too serious,..just time passing enjoyment. :}

Why should the OP "get out more"? Maybe it is late at night for him,or the weather is bad.Ya never know. :}
There are many reasons why someone wouldnt have a lot to do when the game is down.I know I dont really.I cant "get out",as you say.

im precisely in that position atm, no sidewalk and muddy ground means not going very far for me unless im in a wheelchair in the middle of the road or someone aka husband is pushing me and hes at work.

I read when I can't get on or when there are too many players for my comfort level but I kind of resent it when what I really wanted to do is go finish a quest or even do some crafting.

Middle of the road is not good. My uncle was in a wheelchair and when he got a powered one he took to the road, literally. It was a downhill slope from his house to the edge of the business district and he saw no reason not to use the road since he had a motor and he wanted to go to the grocery store by himself. Fortunately, it was a small city and they watched out for him.

I know the feeling. While I do have an electric wheelie,the heat here kills me too much to get out unless I have to. XD

bootheel of MO here we have had sooo much rain its not even funny followed by snow then more rain,

and yea its more flusteration at the fact that my dk is lvl 43 and I wanted a decent shot at getting v16 before thiefs I have read like 300 pages and built a fortress in minecrack leveled some in d3 gone in for pt etc but really I just wanna hit v16 lol

yea were in a smallish city here too and city maintence aka sidewalks end just the block before the house that we bought its uphill to the park where I go on nice days but on a Saturday and with the mud its just not happening today

whats really weird is that I can log into the pts fine but the game just keeps on crashing at the loading screen

Have you tried doing a Repair on it?

yup ran it twice no luck removed all mods and no luck there either, checked the forums and found the windows error it was throwing and then searched it found where they did a ticket submission for the guy from the forums posted on that one to see if he found any soln for it and submitted a ticket of my own.

Have you dont a repair to the game? The option wont harm your characters or anything.But it might just stop the crashing.I had a problem with repeated loading screens,over and over,so I did the repair bit and all was well after that.

yup but its a dry heat so I will take that trade in a heartbeat last year we saw 115 with around 80% humidity it was bad enough friends were coming over just for our ac since I keep it at low temps for the pc room.

Ok, another option is to try loading directly from the ESO.Exe file.
I haven't used the Launcher in probably a year and a half except on Patch day.

Go to your Program files/Zenimax Online/ESO/game/client and make a shortcut on your desktop to the ESO application.
