Game crash breaks Internet connection??

I've only had one crash before, and it seemed like a standard CTD. I just restarted the game with no problems.

But just now, in the last hour, my game has crashed twice right after dying... But it also completely disrupts my ENTIRE internet connection through the whole house! (it lasts for about 15 minutes)
How is that even possible?
Nothing else was happening with my internet that could have caused this, and it happens exactly when I die in ESO.

Has anyone else ever seen something like this? Google didn't offer me anything.

If ESO is going to damage and/or disrupt my internet connection itself, than I'm done with it.

I don't see how ESO could be disrupting your connection, have you tried shutting down and unplugging your PS4 when you have the problem?

It's more likely that instability in your network connection is crashing your game. Have you tried a hard reboot of your router? Have you contacted your isp to find out if there's any maintenance or known issues in your area? If not, I'd start with those steps.

If that's the case shouldn't he try a never ending ping to catch dropped packets and therefore confirming the issue?

I agree with Reverb, reboot your modem. If your PS4 is wireless then hard wire it and try again. ESO is disrupting/damaging your connection. I know blaming it on them is easy but it's probably on your end.

Well, the thing is it only happened immediately after I died... Which is too much of a coincidence to ignore.
I know it's incredibly unlikely that ESO would be to blame, but it was so odd to see my internet crash every time I died in one specific game.

Thankfully, it has stopped happening. (although it did happen a handful of times in a 24 hour period.)

Must have been the internet scamps.
