[GUIDE] ESO Beginners Guide - Everything You Need and Want to Know

Whats up ESO community!

So when I first started playing ESO, I quickly realized how different and unique this game was compared to others out there. Coming from WoW, I knew that there was a lot I would need to learn as this style of MMORPG was totally different. When it came time to learn how to play, I started watching guides and reading up on things so I could get started in the game as smoothly as possible.

Although I learned a lot from some great guides, there were still alot of pieces missing. Luckily my questions were answered by helpful guild mates, but I know that so many beginners to the game might not be as lucky to have helpful people around them.

Thus I embarked on my own personal quest: Create a complete and comprehensive BEGINNER guide to the elder scrolls online. This video guide took me a long time to make, but I am really happy with how it came out. Im no expert at ESO, but i believe i know enough to help out beginner players.

So if you are curious about, almost anything, related to ESO that you are struggling with as you start the game, click the link below and go to the section of the guide that refers to what your looking for.

This is my first ESO video (traditionally i did wow content) so i hope you all enjoy:

I don't have time to go through it (42 mins is a long time) but looking at the list at the beginning it seems you might have missed the single most important tip: Combat mechanics(The link isn't exhaustive, but gives the basic combat mechanics)?

Teaching new players just how important it is to watch the enemy in combat and learn to read the telegraphs they have for their skills that you should block, interrupt or dodge is - in my view - the single most important fact to learn in the game. So many players kite their characters about, don't have a clue how to react to the enemy and end up getting their character defeated in the end anyways. It's horrendously obvious in Craglorn at the moment.

Now most think this is an 'advanced' skill, but that's not the case. The best time to practice and learn is when the enemies are easy, so mistakes aren't fatal for your character. This way by the time such skills are absolutely need in veteran dungeons and trials etc, it's second nature.

Perhaps you could add this in a future update (if it's not already there of course!). It's the single most important piece of advice I give when players ask me.

But other than that it looks great, well done. There's a lot of effort you've put in.

Oh just one more thing; I perhaps would have broken it up into chapters; both so player could go straight to the area that might be relevant to them, and also so that when the game is updated and various aspects changed, you can modify one area without having to re-do the entire thing.

    Once again, well done though!
