"Enemies that get knocked back through walls during the Central Sewer event will no longer break their portals if they were the last enemy of that wave."

Having ran around in the sewers a bit last night it appears that this was the issue causing all the frustration. Molag bal was there more often than not. Sewers was action packed too, I guess it's better late than never.....

I am on console and since the most recent patch that was supposed to "fix" the main event in the Imperial city sewers, I am yet to see him. I actually spend most of my time in the sewers in all of the different campaigns, depending on population, and I can honestly say he was more common before the recent patch.
Is there an official word on this? Is he still broken? Has he been made worse? Or am I just unlucky and other groups have been clearing him and escaping before we get there?
Also, if he is made work correctly, what is his respawn time supposed to be?

Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

Edit; The event appears to work perfectly well on PC on a respawn timer of about 10 minutes. On console he is more broken than ever.

Edit 2; This is from the Playstation patch notes v1.11 posted January 26.
"The central event found in the Imperial Sewers will now respawn faster when no player characters are present in the central chamber."
But he is not re-spawning AT ALL. It is still an outstanding issue that appears to be getting no attention whatsoever.

@ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom are the developers aware of any continued issues with the Molag Bal event in the sewers? Do they feel it has been effectively addressed? Is this only an issue on particular platforms? Any info would be great.

Nope the same thing has happened In scrounge on Xbox broken and still next fixed.I was forced to take my ganking to Azura Star.

I am on Xbox, I haven't seen him spawn either since the patch. We take the outside portals and then nothing spawns in the middle. Not sure what's up.

the fix actually broke the event on ALL servers on ps4. i have heard people say they have done it recently but then i heard a guy say he sold a skoria helmet. Lies.

I have not seen him spawn. always the same take the outer portals and inner portals the same as before with nothing there to fight. Think in my time of playing IC we have only encountered him 1 or 2 times

I think I may have been really lucky but I have few him a fair few times!

Its been more often than not for me! It should work every time though to stop these frustrations

That is interesting. Could it just be on PS4 that there is an issue?

Can I ask around what time of the day you would be playing normally? Since I get on a little later in the evening I'm thinking maybe he just has a huge respawn time and has been cleared by the time I arrive.

I'm the opposite. Same server but portals are glitched 9 out of 10 times for me. I've given up on trying to go to the middle of IC at this point

Them lower entrances into his main chamber are another thing. If you have your camera zoomed out too much and jump in the tunnel you end up caught swimming in the little pool above you. Explain that shizz.

I only have that problem with going through AD bottom entrance.

Hmm, maybe you are right, I never really took notice. After it happened to me once I just always use the upper entrances.

We asked a few people in different campaigns and went down there on two ourselves, as we are trying to run it as a guild event for those that don't have it. ( that includes me) So we asked people in different campaigns to go look over the last 2 weeks..He's been a no show in Azuras, Haderous, thornblade, chillrend and I belive someone also said in scourge? he didn't turn up too. That's ps4 Europe. So I am going to go with still broken. It's possible I am wrong, but we have sent a few people now,as we were going to do this after our weekend trials.

When we were down in Haderous I was there for two of the investigations we were trying all sorts of crazy stuff killing in certain order. Outside then inside starting from a certain door. Getting dragon nights to try to chain things onto circle things on the floor to kill them... If there was some sort of myth, urban legend. thing we read or heard about as someone said, we tried it too at least in that campaign we did.

I'm actually glad for you. And it is re-assuring to know that they have a fix. I just don't think we are behind in patches with regards to this event. But i could still be wrong.

Hanging around on PS4:EU (Azura & Chillrend) it's even gotten worse since the last patch. Now most of the time the inner portals are "open" but don't spawn anything at all.

Glad to know that I'm not the only person to feel as if it has indeed gotten worse since the most recent patch. As I mentioned in the OP, they think that they fixed the respawn timer on him, yet they have zero acknowledgment thereafter as to wether or not the "fix" did anything positive.

I'm starting to feel now as if this issue will not be addressed, or even acknowledged, until well after the thieves guild is released.

I only seen him twice.. Once on my templar once on my sorcerer as far as I know it only gets fixed when the server gets restarted, as soon as someone kills molag bal it gets glitched again.

After watching the most recent ESO Live I just wanted to say that I am more than a little disappointed that this issue was not even mentioned.

It is the central event of a complete DLC's content and it is not present in the game.

I've only seen him once on Xbox NA in all the times I've been in the sewers. I've probably been to the central portal a hundred times or more. The central portals are always down and/or glitched no matter the server.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom can I get a refund or a cpl hundred crowns since I paid for something that hasn't worked in MONTHS and there has been no word of it. Molag has been on vacation since orsinium hit on us ps4 servers I've seen him once. And been to every ic server daily.

He works fine on Xbox one.. My guild mates kill him regularly in most if not all campaigns.

People think he is broken yet they don't think about thins like his respawn. If we run down and he isn't there, we exit the area and kill thins for 10-15 minutes and go back and bam, he is ready to spawn again.
