Playing on Steam?

Hi! I bough the game almost a year ago. Now I'm wondering, can I activate it on Steam or must I buy a Steam version of game?

I'm currently downloading from official client and dl speed is so damn slow, not even 1/3 of my dl speed. Thats why i thought of steam, always gives me full dl speed.
