Erm... use the environment to your advantage? even though that still involves mines. I was thinking of something like... luring your enemies into a cave/doorway and laying your mines down to trap them inside as you streak out.

Curse and wrath plus either tomb or frag (tomb can be replaced with any spammable move to proc frag and keep up damae i.e. tangling webs) is really good burst.
I really don't like mines and the sit and way mentality. My back up has streak, ward, dark conversion and blessing of restoration and surge. Streak and dark conversion allows for really good travel and escape, coupled with a high he heal makes for more mobility and survivability

But why use it at all you lose spell dmg and use of restoration and healing ward ?

Element of surprise I guess, nothing will catch your opponent off guard more than playing in a way they didn't anticipate.

Well yea if someone doesn't throw down mines I'm surprised
Lol mines is better still
A good combo is Entropy, Cruse, weave, force pulse or crushing shock, weave and try to proc your frag and of course keep your shields up. just rinse and repeat. It's not hard to play sorc. Sorc is probably the easiest of the classes to play. DK was when the game started but that was just because they were SUPER OVER POWERED then lol
Yeah I see the point I just have so many abilities I want to use I don't think I can fit a sword and board on thereWaffennacht wrote: »Defensive Posture is the reflect correct? B4 TG it's used because you couldn't reflect a reflect, so you would frag, DK bounce back, you bounce again they get nailed. It effectively pwned flappy wings.
I personally never did it
Oh btw, refreshing a hardened ward is usually enough to by pass healing, the set bonus from having 2 weapons and the max magicka glyph (remember 10.1 max magicka is equal to 1 spell dmg) typically can make up a bit of the difference
