Xivkyn Polymorphs

I've been trying to get the polymorphs since they came out but have had no luck. I've been buying the green containers that only cost 600 Tel Var but when I've asked other do they drop from the green I get mixed info. Some players are saying they do drop from them and other say they don't drop from them only the 3k blue boxes so I hopped onto the PTS and decide to see for myself. It took 200k Tel Var to get my first Xivkyn Polymorph from the green containers but only 54k from the 3k blue boxes. I'm not sure if the 3k blue containers have a higher drop rate than the green but still good to know that I still have a chance getting one from the green containers

It took me two months of farming tv stones in Imp City to get my Augur Polymorph from a green Imperial Reward box. Good luck!

The drop rate should be higher on the larger cost boxes just do to the fact that they cost more. But then again never know with how that RNG works haha.

They do drop on the green ones, but in my opinion you should buy the blue ones.

I got all three from the blue ones and that was after I purchased 50 green ones at the same time and got nothing. After that I decided to go all blue from then on.

I would advise saving up to 12+ then buying 3-4 blues. It just feels better versus opening up 1 whenever u hit 3k.

Also you get tel var much faster if you grind alone so try that if it's going slowly.

I had 60k stones Sunday.

Spent 38k on mats I needed.

Decided to spend the rest on boxes. 3 blue boxes in, the caster with a robe polymorph. 6 green boxes in, the dreadguard polymorph. Couldn't believe my luck.

So yes, you can 100% get them with green ones.

I would agree on this and do what I do take out 1k stones on non prime time and solo the starting area in the sewers I generally come back with 1.3k-1.6k(sometimes a little more if I don't die due to personal error) extra per circle at 3x stones. that includes all chests and portals( yes my magicka Templar solos portals.) So you can get it done pretty quick that way as soon as 1 more person starts the grind immediately drop down to 100 out per trip. It is a bigger risk and you will go from 12stones per monster(36 for big ones) to 6 per monster >.> so its a huge waste if there are more than just yourself there.

I spent 30K tel var on dem 600 tel var chests and scored the dreadguard polymorph.

I...don't really wanna dump anymore tel var into it, though I did sorta want the medium armor one.

Got Tormentor on my first and only box (the v16 one).

You can get them from both, but the green one's have a lower chance. I spent a little over 30k in stones and received 2 of the polymorphs. Also, I'd like to thank the AD that was running around in Axe sewers with over 30k in stones on him. It was definitely appreciated.
