When I close the game the window pops up saying that it is unresponsive with the status bar going back and forth. And then pops up and says Close Program. Anyone know? Fresh install last night. Thanks!

    Running any Addons?

Have you tried a Repair from the Launcher? (Note, it is better to create a shortcut to the EXE and not use the Launcher other than for patching or repairing)

    Background Apps?

Video Card Drivers up to date?
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

This. I closed the launcher and just directly launched the game. When I quit out this time it shut down properly. Didn't crash. Weird

    Thanks tho :)

I'm having the same issue right now. I have a brand new alienware laptop that I just got days ago, so there's little installed on it that might conflict. Downloaded a fresh copy, and I always have run eso64.exe instead of the launcher.

This happened to me from the first time I ran the game. Game runs great, and then on closing I get the same popup as OP. I will get it, even if I only go as far as the login page, and then quit right at that point. I do have a number of addon's, but I repaired first. I'm going to restart, and then try once more. Will be back to advise result

    update:

still happening, but it happens only with eso64.exe, doesn't happen with eso.exe, the 32bit client

    update:

disabled all addons, and it's still doing it. I guess I'll hafta check video drivers next, although I shouldn't need to. It's the first thing I'd say to someone if the machine was bought at Best Buy or Walmart, but this was built to spec by Dell and delivered only days ago.

PS: sorry about necro'ing the topic, I saw februrary, but didn't notice 2016 at first...
