    Not only the quoted person will receive the notification but the topic will be tidier and easier to read. So... Please? Pretty please? Pleeeeeeeease....
    I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
    I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
    My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

    A lot of people just quote someone's post when replying to them on here. The issue with that is that the person you're replying to isn't the OP, they don't get a notification of your reply.

    When you're quoting someone's reply to an OP, just add "@ *insert person's ID*" somewhere in to the reply. That way they'll know someone's replied to their comment when they're next online rather than either missing it or trawling through posts they've replied to on the off chance someone has.

    Okay @Sunburnt_Penguin this has been noted.

    But I like things messy, it's my way of bringing a little anarchy and chaos into all of your lives.

    @Turelus, with 2 inventory mules I already have enough anarchy and chaos in my life.

    @hrothbern sadly no. I am actually very OCD (I know that's not the correct use of the word, just everyone uses it now) about things being really neat and tidy.

    Also I am pretty sure form the quote stacking the OP is going to find out one of the worst things about name dropping, when you're no longer part of the conversation but your name drop is embedded into the quotes.

    @hrothbern

    I found that on the fourth post - time to edit the OP and do what @Marrtha suggested!

    Simple things require simple solutions, but you shouldn't have edited the OP. It is good to let other people know, in case they didn't know..
