As was said in your other thread, mix in more crit & damage on your sets and less sustain.

Don't use reinforced or impenetrable on your armor, use infused on the big 3 pieces (head / chest / legs) and divines on the other pieces. You do have at least 5 pieces of light armor, right?

You also don't need defending on your resto staff, your ward should be all you need for defense. Use precise or go for 2 swords instead of resto for the extra spell damage and set bonus (don't forget the twin blade and blunt passive if you do this).

Inner light and bound aegis will each bump your max magicka by 5% when active.

How do you have your champion points assigned?

Your Champ points need to be more focused than what you have. For example, all points should be in Elemental Defender, not the other ones. You also need to put all your points into Thaumaturge (for now, Elemental Expert after TG releases)

Thing is, you don't have enough Champ Points to really make being focused a benefit to your character. So, in your situation, I would focus on putting champ points into Stars that will unlock the Passives that will help your character and not so much what each point does for your character. Once you get to about 200 or 300 points total, then use a more focused approach.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I was going to suggest Elemental Expert now so he could get the spell crit passive, then watch it magically get better when TG hits live. Otherwise yes, stack elemental defender & magician.
