Ex-Stamina Sorcerer looking for advice

I was a stamina sorcerer, but have become disillusioned. However I am not willing to sell my soul and go full magicka.
Thus I was thinking of going down a hybrid route...

Split attributes into magicka and stamina.
Clever alchemist 5pc with hajeko enchants
Molag kena 2pc with hajeko enchanta
3pc agility jewellery with weapon damage enchants
And frankly any decent weapons I can get my hands on

If I have done the maths this should be about 22k in all stats in PvP
And about 5k weapon damage and 4.2k spell damage when everything is up.

However I am guessing my shield would be about 5k, so I would be quite reliant on surge healing (@40%) still.
The base idea would be to be able to mix magicka timed burst with high weapon damage...

I am not sure if I should go 5m/2h with infused/divines tank up with impen (5h/2m) and trust crit surge to heal.
I am not sure what mundus stone to go with? Maybe Thief?
I am not sure how best to spend my CPs? Spread em around between damage types or focus on stamina?

Anyway as you can tell this is a theory craft thought experiment to work out if I can make a hybrid viable...
And all ideas are welcome.

How heavily are you going to be investing in magicka damage? This could be the time where crit-surge isn't the best choice, if the bonus magicka damage is worth it. Or degeneration, since that provides the spell power buff, empower, and can support crit heals with some rather nice 115% damage done heals. I would also say heavy armor would likely be best if kept at a minimum since it doesn't offer a whole lot beyond its own defense so I would say the 5m would work better. And the thief sounds like a solid choice given it will help both sides of your hybrid nicely and compliment the high damages.

Well as clever alchemist and molag kena are weapon and spell agnostic in that they provide the same regardless to both, the build can be switched between spell or weapon damage by switching jewellery sets around and it should swap around in theory (5k/4.2k). I am not sure about the regen tho.. but if I am popping cheap ass pots for a part-time I can prob make sure they are the ones I need as long as I avoid expensive mats. I mean this is a thirsty build.

This build would use power surge
The basic gameplay would be curse, rush, WB into a set of mines.
Or curse, degen, magnum shot into mines and a proc of frags

That sort of thing.

While your numbers are impressive for a hybrid build, it's a highly limited one trick pony because it utterly depends on these two things:

Molag Kena/Clever Alchemest

You're viable for 15 seconds out of every 45, the rest of the time you're gimped and out of resources. It's a gank build, and straight magicka or straight stamina would still be more effective in this context.

I agree it's a burst build, but how the hell else do you get a viable hybrid?

This sounds pretty interesting. I might jump on PTS soon and give it a try. In all honesty though, I don't have high hopes, but maybe I can use a similar setup on a DK so I can finally get access to whip on a stamina-ish DK

I know vigor scales with max stam and weapon dmg, with wd so high vigor may be a viable heal...

Even Stamplar got Major Mending, so Stam Sorc is so far behind it isn't funny. Not for lack of feedback either.


I may still run a regen support build in groups for Negate but definitely feel lacking in every other department.
