Help: Melee Focused Build Dual Wield/Shield + Which Class?

Hello,

I'm new to the game, and i've made a Sorcerer so far who's build was pretty straight forward in terms of combining class/skills that benefit each other. Now, i'm looking to make a character that focuses pretty much entirely on melee combat using the weapon skills. In particular dual wield and sword/shield.

As far as picking a class for my melee character, i'm not sure which one to go with. Is there a particular class that would benefit a melee build, where i wouldn't have to rely on any magical sort of magical skills? The character i'm trying to create is supposed to be a gritty warrior type, and i don't like the idea of sprouting dragon parts, searing people with sunlight or electrocuting stuff.

The only class that makes sense to me is Nightblade, but again there isn't anything there that i see benefiting a melee focused warrior. Can someone help guide me to pick the class that would most benefit a melee warrior build?

Thanks.

Dk imperial or Orc or Redguard.
Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

I would have to say NightBlade, but all class skill lines incorporate magical abilities. You'll want to use all weapon skill tree abilities to create a traditional melee warrior.

Are you saying that there are benefits to having the skills of all the weapon lines if i'll still only be switching between two skill lines?

No, not beneficial to have all skills... Only the skills in the two weapons you choose.

What I meant was to remove the "magical" effects/visuals from your warrior, you should only put weapon skills on your bar. Weapon skills have less "magical" visuals and effects.

Any class could work, but the DK has the physical dmg ultimate that would benefit most from this build.
